National Donut Day

Today is National Donut Day. No, really, it is. (We don’t want our readers to think we write only about very serious subjects all the time. Then again, to many people, donuts are a very serious matter. Serious as a heart attack, some might say.) In honor of the occasion, you can read more about National Donut Day here, on the L.A. Times blog, where you’ll also find a guide to the best donut shops in Los Angeles. I personally object to the frou-frou donuts pictured in the Times post, but if you can get past that, the blogger gives out good information.
